Forerunner
States $3 billion under management and describes its approach as early conviction: backing founders with the vision to define entire categories and the courage to own the totality of what they build from the start.
Criteria: Four named categories: brands and experiences, marketplaces and services, personal systems, and platforms and infrastructure, read through three stated AI lenses, AI as agent, AI as infrastructure, and AI as intelligence layer. States that the most important companies being built now deploy serious technical capability while making deliberate decisions about how people experience and rely on it. Publishes no check sizes.
What this means for your pitchThe category vocabulary is the filter. Place your company in one of their four categories and say which AI lens applies before they ask, because asking them to do your positioning is the wrong first impression. The experience language is not decoration either; expect questions about how people will live with the product, not just what the model can do.
