Meet the Venture Capitalists · Firm Profile
GV, formerly Google Ventures
Alphabet is the sole limited partner, but GV operates independently and invests for financial return rather than strategic alignment with Google. Deep technical bench including dedicated life sciences partners. Originated the Design Sprint methodology.
Criteria: Enterprise software and developer tools, AI applications, life sciences and therapeutics, consumer, and frontier technology. Partner-led by sector, with warm introductions preferred.
What this means for your pitchCorrect one assumption before the meeting: GV backing does not imply Google distribution, integration or preferential treatment. If your pitch leans on that, remove it.
Assets under management reported between $7 billion and $13 billion; we state no figure.
