Index Ventures announced $3.5 billion in new funds to mark its 30th year: a $400 million seed fund, a $900 million venture fund, and a growth fund upsized by $700 million to $2.2 billion. The firm states its approach remains backing founders from seed stage through public markets.
Index announced a $7.9 million seed investment in Intelligence, founded by Grace Li and Kamryn Ohly, which builds real-world testing grounds for AI systems, including a platform where AI models trade on prediction markets with real money.
Index announced its investment in Simile's $200 million Series B, after leading the company's Series A earlier in 2026. Simile builds generative agents that simulate human behavior so organizations can model customers, employees, and markets before making real-world changes; customers named include CVS, Deloitte, Wealthfront, and Gallup.
