Meet the Venture Capitalists · Firm Profile
SignalFire
Describes itself as a venture firm built like a technology company, and states it interviewed 500 founders to design its model. Its distinguishing claim is a proprietary data platform rather than a thesis.
Criteria: States approximately $3 billion in assets under management across seven named areas: health and pharmatech, enterprise AI, cybersecurity, fintech, consumer, applied AI and machine learning with vertical SaaS, and AI and machine learning infrastructure with developer tools. States its Beacon AI platform tracks 650 million employees and provides talent search, competitive intelligence and sales lead data, that portfolio companies average 47 support interactions with the firm per quarter, and that every company takes part in at least one programme within six months of joining. Publishes no check sizes and no stage definitions.
What this means for your pitchThe platform is the pitch, so make them show it. Forty-seven interactions a quarter is a specific and checkable claim, and a firm confident enough to publish that number should be willing to walk you through what those interactions actually were for a company at your stage.
Check sizes and stage definitions are not published by the firm.
