Meet the Venture Capitalists · Firm Profile
Uncork Capital
States that it is a seed-stage firm investing in founder potential long before it is obvious, and describes itself as partners for the hard parts, not just the headlines. An early backer of SendGrid and LaunchDarkly; its portfolio also includes Tailscale, Groq, Human Interest, Loft Orbital and Gamma.
Criteria: States a focus on AI-native companies. Publishes no check size, no fund size and no ownership target. Unusually for this directory, it publishes a direct address for pitches on its own site, which makes it one of the few firms here that openly invites cold inbound rather than routing everything through warm introductions.
What this means for your pitchThis is among the shortest paths in the directory for a founder without a network: one stage, a stated willingness to look early, and a published address to send to. Because they publish no check size, ask for it on the first call rather than guessing, and ask what ownership they need, because a seed-only firm has to earn its whole return from this round.
